IPL – Intense Pulsed Light with Optimal Pulse Technology
The versatile IPL handpiece supports 9 interchangeable filters for treating different skin conditions with a single platform. This improves workflow efficiency and simplifies daily clinical use. Three differently sized light guides allow treatment of both small and large skin areas while maximising patient comfort.
Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT)
OPT technology delivers precise energy to the selected treatment area while protecting surrounding tissue. It allows accurate control of pulse shape, power and duration. The technology is ideal for treating pigmentation changes, vascular lesions and dilated blood vessels.
During treatment, light energy reaches the target gradually. This allows the tissue to cool between pulses and reduces thermal damage to the skin. Multiple pulse sequences improve safety and treatment efficiency while helping remove pigmentation and vascular lesions.
Special Acne Filter
LUMENIS has developed a dedicated acne filter with wavelengths of 400–600 nm and 800–1200 nm. The beam penetrates deeply into the skin and targets inflammation and bacteria inside sebaceous glands. This helps cleanse pores and reduce the formation of new acne lesions.
Nd:YAG Module
The Nd:YAG module is suitable for treating haemangiomas, telangiectasia, vascular lesions, varicose veins and wrinkles. An integrated cooling system protects the epidermis and improves treatment safety and patient comfort.
The module is suitable for all skin types, including darker skin tones.
ResurFX Module
The ResurFX module uses a 1565 nm wavelength and advanced CoolScan technology for fractional skin resurfacing procedures. The scanner allows selection from more than 600 shape combinations according to the required treatment size and density. This helps protect tissue from overheating and excessive heat accumulation.
