Inner nose splints and clamps are used after rhinoplasty to support and/or protect the nasal septum. It is very important that the splint and the septum do not stick to each other and cause further complications. Special materials – silicone and fluoroplastic – were therefore used to achieve this. Thanks to the non-stick surfaces, both materials prevent the splint from sticking to secretions or tissues and ensure smooth healing after surgery.
